Family Support Coordinator

Marnie has extensive experience as a Community Developer, Wrap Around Facilitator, Event Coordinator, Workshop Facilitator and Project Manager. She has a Masters of Social Work from Carleton University and a Management Certificate from the Sprott School of Business. Marnie has worked in diverse communities in the Ottawa area for over 20 years and has particular skills in Systems Navigation, specifically with respect to the Health and Mental Health Systems. She has a background in facilitating groups for children, youth and parents, with a focus on  chronic illness, LGBTTQ* issues and ASD and other disabilities.

She works from a strength based, problem solving perspective while taking a close look at the intersectionalities that exist in peoples’ lives and the barriers that exist for some of our most vulnerable families.
