TIPES offers BCBA/BCaBA supervised independent fieldwork to any qualified employee.  Supervision will be provided at least once every two weeks, for a minimum of 5% of the candidate’s total fieldwork hours. During supervision, the focus is on developing behaviour analytic skills related to the BACB Fourth Edition Task List in order to prepare the individual to sit for the BCBA/BCaBA exam.

 

As specified by the BACB, supervision will include:

  • Problem solving and decision making related to program development
  • Observation and feedback, and behaviour skills training
  • Modeling technical, professional and ethical behaviour
  • Review of written materials
  • Review and discussion of behaviour analytic research

 

Per the BACB, requirements to begin supervision include:

  • Proof of enrollment in a BACB verified course sequence
  • Enrollment or completion of a Master’s degree (BCBA) or Bachelor’s degree (BCaBA) from an accredited university
